Energetic School Setup: Supporting Your Child Through Transitions

27th of August

Starting preschool or school is one of the biggest leaps our children (and we as mothers) go through. It’s exciting, yes — new friends, new routines, new adventures. But it’s also tender. Separation, structure, and fresh environments can stir up big emotions, both for little ones and for us.

As Sol steps into his first mornings at preschool, I’ve been reflecting on how to support him energetically. Until now, our days have been wide open, flowing as they came. Sometimes that felt unmoored, but also deeply lush. And now, with preschool, we are entering a new rhythm: mornings with friends, teachers, and a classroom of his own. Here’s how I set him up and myself with gentle energetic tools each day:

Morning Setup

  • Grounding: I help him connect to his grounding chord with a simple & sweet visualization while I ground him with my tools

  • I will start running his Earth & Cosmic Energy: To remind him he is nourished, resourced, and safe.

  • Energetic “Zip-Up”: A simple visualization where he “zips” his energy field closed, keeping his own space intact.

  • Classroom Grounding: I energetically anchor the room he’ll be in, so it feels steady and calm.

Midday Reset

When I pick him up, I clear away the day. I release the energetic cords between him and his teachers or classmates, leaving only what’s supportive. That way, he can come home lighter, returning fully to himself.

Evening Clearing

Before bed, I do a deeper clearing, much like the practice we shared in Slow Down, Baby. I make sure he’s free of any energy that isn’t his, and our own cord, mother and child, is reset in love.

These small practices shift everything. They give him the sense of being held, while allowing me to trust he is safe even when we are apart.

Would you like to learn these tools for your child? I’ll be guiding them step-by-step in my upcoming workshop: Zip Up, Love.

Manifestation & Children: Why Visualization Shapes Reality

27th of August

I’ve been thinking a lot about manifestation lately. We often use the word in big, lofty ways: manifesting houses, jobs, or whole new lives. But it’s also a tool we can use in the small, everyday thresholds, like supporting our children through school transitions.

Here’s the truth: our minds are always creating. Overthinking can spiral us into imagining everything that could go wrong. And just as that repeated imagining can create anxiety, visualizing positive outcomes can rewire us toward peace and success.

Science backs this up. Dr. Joe Dispenza and others have shown how the body responds as if an imagined event were already happening. The nervous system “practices” the feeling of joy, safety, or achievement and then begins to seek it in reality.

So instead of worrying whether Sol will be upset when I leave him at preschool, I’ve started imagining a different scene:

  • He walks in curious and open.

  • He plays with friends and feels safe with his teacher.

  • He leaves happy, excited to tell me what he did.

Each morning, I take a moment to create a manifestation bubble around him, visualizing his day unfolding with lightness, fun, and protection. I ground out any fear (mine or his) and replace it with the vision of joy.

And here’s the beauty: when I imagine it, my body softens. He feels calmer. And the day often does unfold more smoothly.

Manifestation isn’t just about “wishing.” It’s about choosing which story our nervous system rehearses, fear, or trust.

In my upcoming workshop, I’ll share how to use manifestation practices with your child, so they step into school (and life) with confidence and safety.

Meditation in Birth & Pregnancy

You are highly intuitive during pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time where a woman is more naturally in touch with her body and her intuition.

Meditation can enhance the pregnancy and birth experience by creating a space for you to move beyond your mind’s chatter and fears and connect with your calm inner core. Once you have established that inner connection, you can return to that place as desired or as necessary during birth and the rest of your life.

Finding your calm inner core

During labour, when a woman is acting intuitively and free of fear, she chooses to withdraw and focus internally, finding her calm inner mind space. The hormones flowing in her blood stream at that point support, enhance and co-create this experience.

Meditation as a tool

Meditation can improve your experience and the outcome of your labor & birth, making the whole experience more pleasurable for yourself and your baby.

When birth is approached from a place of inner calm and trust, it can unfold in its natural way and be a positive initiation into motherhood.
